A benefit-in-kind (BIK) is any non-cash benefit of monetary value.
A benefit-in-kind (BIK) is any non-cash benefit of monetary value that you provide for your employees with the goal of improving job satisfaction or work-life balance. Some in-kind benefits are taxable, some are not. Examples of in-kind benefits include relocation expenses, educational reimbursements, car allowances, meal plans, and housing. These benefits can also be referred to as notional pay, fringe benefits or perks.
