Employees with over one year's service are entitled to 12 days of sick leave on full pay each year. Employees with less than one year are entitled to a portion of those twelve days proportionate to the amount of time that they have worked. If an employee has completed service of at least one year, the notice period is normally 30 days. No notice is required in cases of misconduct.
Severance payments of one month's salary are common.
The maximum probationary period is six months.
